Reason & Faith

In the contemporary academy, it is largely assumed that faith and reason are incompatible, and that to be a good professor or student, one  must check his/her faith at the door. This view is a modern one, and even though it springs from the mind of the Enlightenment, it actually expresses a rather unenlightened perspective of reality. Faith and Reason coexist in a beautiful harmony, and whether the postmodern skeptic or the so-called rational atheist likes it or not, everyone–and I mean everyone–relies on both faith and reason. The question becomes in what does one believe? And, is that belief based upon good reason and sound thinking? Below are some resources that may help you think through these issues for yourself.
